Papa Chow dug up an old recording of a baby .tiff trying to sing the ABC's. Given that my brother is not in the picture, this must have been recorded sometime between 1986 and 1987. I think I sound pretty adorable.com, but it's clear I have some work ahead of me on my alphabet reciting skills:
Happy holidays everyone! Since I took most of my vacation days off a few weeks ago while visiting New York, I don't have the luxury of spending the entire holiday season lucidly lounging about in my Snuggie (ha ha, no I don't actually own a Snuggie. I just wear my bathrobe backwards). Fortunately, the office will be nice and quiet, so I'll have plenty of time to concentrate and lock down on my work before the new year starts.
In other news, I've been doing my best these last few months in making sure I'm being creative at least a few times a week. This means lots of little drawings to share! I try to post what I've got once a week over at my TypePad blog, but whatever I churn out always gets posted at my Flickr. Hope you enjoy, and let me know if you have any drawing requests (I'm on the look out for some fresh material, what with these new copic pens I got for Christmas!).
What does a good kid get for a late birthday present? An awesome hooded space monkey towel, gifted by someone who knows me way to well.
Divorce destroys the sanctity of marriage and its powerful influence on the betterment of society. This proposition would keep the very meaning of marriage from being transformed into nothing more than a contractual relationship between two adults. Prohibiting divorce between heterosexual married couples will keep the interests of children and families intact. We will continue to celebrate marriage as the union of husband and wife, not as a relationship between "Party A" and "Party B." The marriage of a man and a woman has been at the heart of society since the beginning of time and it promotes the ideal opportunity for children to be raised by a mother and a father in a family held together by the legal, communal, and spiritual bonds of marriage. As a society we should put the best interests of children first, and those interests lie in traditional marriage. Permitting divorce destroys marriage as we know it and causes a profound harm to society. We should be restoring marriage, not undermining it.
And for those of you who voted yes on Prop 8 but disagree with this petition...Why? This petition is copied and pasted from literature from your website, ProtectMarriage.com, but applied to Divorce instead of Gay Marriage. So how can you argue with your own words?
I've been a dinky camera enthusiast for a solid eight years, and while I've been fine with making the very best of crappy macro modes and minuscule mega pixels, I think it's about time for an upgrade. Thus, I've decided to pull together some of my savings and purchase one of those fancy photo-taking devices, like this alleged Nikon D40 everyone's been talking about. No really, everyone's been talking about it. So I'll probably get one of those... unless somebody wants to convince me otherwise.
What do you say, neighbors? Hurray! I need to purchase one before my giant trip to NYC!
Just posted another wedding on my wedding photography blog. I'd love it if you checked it out and left a comment over there. ;)
